I still remember Mr Atkinson scratching his head in complete befuddlement at his new user level of 1. You could only drop a user to a lower user level if you were a higher level. There were different levels of user access, so if you were level 1 all you could do is Shift-Break into whatever menu was on the dual discs of the fileserver. I can still remember getting all of the micros to load Castle Quest simultaneously so we had an orchestral version of the loading music filling the room!

We were lucky enough to have an entire room of BBC micros (room 27!) all connected via econet and served by the Quark file sever written by Gary.
